- 1. Does the project clearly align with your organisation’s strategic intent?
- 2. Have you assessed the business impact of the project and what it will do for customers, clients or business partners?
- 3. Is there a shared vision and clear purpose, understood and embraced by all?
- 4. Is there a simple and effective governance model to ensure ongoing project sponsorship?
Resources
- 5. Is there a clear business case, is the project affordable and are the economics sound?
- 6. Will you be safeguarding intellectual capital as a result of knowledge transfer where business partners are involved and is there a partnering or alliance strategy?
- 7. Have you given sufficient attention to the quality of input data to new processes and resulting management information?
- 8. Are you comfortable with any new technology involved and has it been proven with risks factored into plans?
- 9. Have you considered how your project fits with existing commitments and changes already underway?
